1981 Foundation

Inception & Plant Foundation in Meerut

Sumati Electronics established in Mohkampur Industrial Area, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, pioneering high-precision metallurgical copper drawing, continuous annealing, and specialized electronic conductors.

2010 Metallurgy R&D

Silver-Plated Wire Engineering Division

Successfully developed proprietary continuous silver-plated copper conductor lines, meeting high-spec requirements for advanced electronics and early-stage photovoltaic module research.

2018 Solar Entry

Commercial PV Ribbon Line Launch

Officially launched specialized Solar Photovoltaic Ribbon manufacturing with an initial 10 MT/month capacity, providing ultra-low yield stress tinned copper ribbons to domestic solar module assemblers.

2020 50 MT/Mo Scale

High-Speed Process Automation Scaling

Integrated high-speed automated spooling lines, inert gas annealing furnaces, and inline hot-dip tinning, scaling monthly production capacity fivefold to 50 MT/month.

2021 Busbar Matrix

Precision PV Busbar Line Commissioning

Added a dedicated 60 MT/month precision busbar production matrix. Combined monthly plant output reached 110 MT/month, accommodating large-format M10 and G12 solar wafers.

2022 160 MT/Mo Output

Multi-Busbar (MBB) Wire & PV Wire Expansion

Launched round multi-busbar (MBB) wire and tinned copper PV wire divisions with additional 50 MT/month capacity, expanding total facility output to 160 MT/month.
